Finally got rid of tops = Big tank COOL down

not exactly sure why this thought had not crossed my mind until now,,but i finally removed the glass tops. tank cooled down about 4.5 degrees.
it was 3 deg lower than room temp with fan on sump and fan blowing across 1/2 the top.
not to mention the tank is a bit brighter now, which was my main reason for tossing the things....

You need install egg create if you have any jumpers in the tank. I learned the hard way when i picked my firefish and wrasse off the floor the same morning.

yeah,,i read about that.
hopefully the canopy will keep them contained and they could flop themselves back in the water.

I have an open back canopy and that's where they went.
