FYI - NOT impressed with the Hydor

I just installed the new Hydor (mini scwd). I am NOT impressed. I put it on a MaxiJet 600 in my 16G nano, and it totally cut down the flow (not that I didn't expect that, but I mean a lot!) The gear mechanism is pretty cool, but if you want to use one of these I would recommend doubling (at least) the powerhead size you are currently using. I have removed it, and will trade it for a frag if someone wants, otherwise it will make a nice desk ornament for me.

I put one on a maxi jet 1200 in my 40 gal breeder frag tank, and while it did cut down on the flow some...I feel the added water movement was well worth the investment.
