I am thinking of getting a goniopora soon and i have heard they are hard to keep and have heard they are easy to keep. So if anyone has experience in keeping them advice would be greatly appreciated.

Get the long tentacles Gonipora, it is easier.
The short tentacles one is hard to keep.
Blast them with reefroid helps a lot.

I have two long-tentacled; both have thrived without any special feeding; I have a high flow tank so tried to find a lower flow location though one gets quite a bit and is fine, tentacles extent

I have never had success in the past but i have one now for about a month and is doing decent. I think getting a highly established one helps.

If you know what they need for care they are no harder to keep than any other coral.

If you ever want to stop over I can give you some pointers on how to keep them thriving.
