Finally cleared up enough to do some scaping. So far I like it but might make some changes. The two hermit hitchhikers and coral that came on the rock are doing well.
I went up to the petco in Nashua later that night and liked a few pieces and grabbed them. I still think I might move around some small pieces but not sure yet. I figure coral I add will have rock as well. Thanks again for the help. The coral on the rock is pissed atm but hoping that's just the adjustment.
So decided to try out microbacter7 and can't say enough about it. My tank already has diatoms after two days of dosing it and so far my levels have been right where I expected. Definitely made the process faster. Still waiting a bit but looking good so far.
No with the coral on the rock and the, hermits I wanted to give them an actual chance and figured something liked this would help. I'm still waiting a bit because I'm a skeptic but so far I'm impressed.
Lazy Saturday so decided to diy a water changer. Some shots of the tank. Got some serious diatoms going on and the start of brown algae on the rocks and glass. Will be happy when done with this stage.
Went to get some cuc members today and ended up with two frags as well. This is the one that is open currently. Lights don't do it justice really. I wanted to get some trochus, and nerite snails but they were out so ended up with two chestnut snails and a peppermint shrimp as well that are hiding currently.
