Kevin McG Ni Hao! Jun 9, 2005 #2 I leave mine in the sump plugged in, it probably hasn't kicked on in 2 weeks though
N NateHanson Non-member Jun 9, 2005 #3 I definitely leave mine plugged in because I have a big fan running on the basement sump, and on a mild day that can actually cool my tank below 80. Aim for minimizing temp swings rather than minimizing temp. Last edited: Jun 9, 2005

blajoie Rookie Jun 9, 2005 #6 Tank dropped to 77.6 tonight. So on it went. Try to keep it 79. The 2 Fans were too much for it.
