One thing that worked for me, to get rid of the little bits that were left behind after I scraped them from the rocks, was to block them from the light... either put a frag disc on top of them, or cover them with epoxy... leave them like that for a few weeks, remove the plugs/epoxy and you're done Just keep in mind that you'll be killing them in the tank, so if there's a lot of them you can have a ammonia spike (depending on the size of the tank, of course)
