I wonder if the aiptasia comes back after a week or 2 or if this lasers kills it for good. I used aiptasia X and that stuff worked really good but this is pretty interesting.

The lasers are expensive this was brought up a couple of months ago.

Very very pricy, and at that wattage very dangerous due to reflections that can happen off the glass. There was a thread over on reef central about a guy who burnt a crater in his arm from a reflrction. Also it can blind fish. Cool way to do it but the cons outweigh the pros especially when we have solutions for the problem commonly available to us.

You could do roughly the same thing far more safely and effectively with some fiber optic pipping and a low power UV, blue, or IR laser or LED. Frankly, the original idea is immensely stupid.
