Monti encrusting back glass?

Anybody out there growing encrusting montis on the glass back pane of their tank? I was thinking it might look neat to get some Sunset/Pokerstar/maybe both/or another sweet monti and attach them to the glass in the back and let them grow.

I was thinking I could attach the pieces with Aqua Mags or if the monti was on something thin maybe just epoxy that to the back.

See any problems with this?

I don't have much luck with them growing on the back glass. I'm not trying, though. Just neglect and one got a bit close and attached. It never really did much. I had one grow much better on the plastic overflow, though.

Same here, we glued an idaho grape frag (2 x 2) on the overflow box. It's grown a lot and is now starting to grow outwards. Kind'a cool.

Hmmmm.....looks like I will just have to give it a try, maybe I'll put one on the overflow (acrylic) and one on the glass.
