Reef Roids

Whenever I use Reef Roids I end up with a brown film on the top of my water, and then an sps frag bites the dust. I run the skimmer, but it's still there, and I have to manually remove it. What am I doing wrong? I thought this product had good reviews.

How are you using it. I've never noticed anything different except elevated phoshates.

Does your tank have a overflow?
This stuff spikes Po4 very well too.

No overflow, no sump. It's a Red Sea Max 250. I wonder if the jump in phosphates annoys the sps. It's too coincidental that I feed Reef Roids one day and something bleaches the next.

I mix a little with tank water and use a long dosing tool. I think it's a Julian something or other.
