Rinsing food

How exactly do y'all rinse your mysis shrimp? I am still having a cyano problem and I am trying to fix this part of the problem.

Never done it, but I bet you could use a brine shrimp net.

if you have reduced your feeding you shouldnt really be a big need to rinse the food if your skimmers up to par. but if you feel the need any extra filter media you may have works
even if you solve the cause of your cyano it will take awhile for it to subside have you tried blowing or syphoning(prefered way) it off.

I thaw in a cup of cold water, then pour off the brown liquid. I continue to rinse and swirl the food around several more times before adding to the tank. The oily stuff that come off when you rinse mysis shrimp (particularly the PE mysis) will shutown your skimmer for quite a while.
