s_kelley's rebuild thread

Grabbed them at the frag farmers market. I agree the colors are awesome

Yeah I love my frag of rastas. Mine have roughly 8 polyps or so. Got them with my fruit loop zoas at last October's meeting in Taunton.

My goodness you made some scores! I really need to start showing up to events haha That is a really cool selection of corals that you have there. That will look killer!

Did some rearranging tonight, not sure if I'm happy yet tho.

Now I just have to decide if I want to do an anemone again. If I do it's gotta be a different one like a rainbow or flame or something. So many options! Anyone have anything interesting available before I search online?

Very nice clowns. As for a nem I think calciumbuf has some nice rose ones if that peaks your interest.

Great hairy mushroom rock I picked up.

Im really liking the shallowness of it. Is shallowness even a word? Hmm
Anyways, its nice to be able to reach everything without putting my arm in the water all the way up to my shoulder
It is very different as far as space, I want to utilize the sand bed more but still have an aquascape which is weird, sort of like having a frag tank but wanting to make it display like with rockwork. Im getting good growth from stuff in the short time I have had it set up.
Focusing more on my corals instead of fish this time too which is kinda fun. Cant wait to get my zoa and acan gardens back
Wish I didnt have to loose everything to get to this point but I guess it is just part of our reefing madness

yeah i always wanted a tank that I can look down on have you ever thought about moving the rock in the middle and seeing fish and corals all around it? just a thought! kind of like a lagoon style

Wow, really cool Shane. I love the orange zoa/paly - hope it grows out for you. With a tank this shallow there's so much floor space for critters and coral - looking forward to seeing it mature.
