thermometer missing

ok i went to check the temp in my tank last nite and i couldnt find the thermometer anywhere. it was a glass one with the suction cup. i went crazy going through every crevice i could see and nothing. it must have somehow got under something i cant see so i decided it was a sign to get a digital thermometer instead. my temp is holding at a steady 80 ( after i put the ac in ) just thought id share. whats the weirdest thing that has dissapeared in your tank?

besides fish and corals, ive lost plastic hardware behind rocks. im sure they would turn up if I took all the rock out.

I'm still using the glass ones and every so often a big turbo snail gets on it and pops it off the glass. I usually see the thermometer pop up after awhile when the snail is done with it.
