Whats the best way to kill Xenia

I have the same issue,except it's brown/green rhodactis mushrooms.
I must have kalk pasted 50+ only to have them return.
 
pull off the big pieces, then move the xenia rocks to an unlit sump. they'll die.

I used to keep xenia in a refugium, it's an excellent filter feeder.

problem with that is there are other corals on the rocks I want to keep
 
My tank went up to about 84 this week...lost almost all of my xenia... not sure if you want to cook the rest of your corals... but they definitely did not like the heat...

I would rather not cook my corals but you just gave me an idea
I just need to take out the rocks I just removed the Xenia from and hit the areas with a micro torch to cook the residue and that may keep it from growing back and hopefully only do minor damage to the rock
