that was my first choice until I ran across a guy I knew through my daughter and cut me a great deal. thought both were equally rated, but I also needed the switch and a new panel. all will be eaton, all with a discount.

Discounts are your friend! You'll be fine with the Eaton. Just think..the first time you are away, and you find out you lost power...you'll feel just fine knowing YOU...yes YOU...have power...

fired it up today. Thanks for the advise. Now I have to wait for a bad crash where people knock down a pole or something like a hurricane or massive brown outs, oh my but it still wont help me keep me digital clocks set to the right time

Portable generator now for sale along with two battery operated air pumps. Why keep them.
