I got a PC fixture with moonlights about a year ago made by custom sea life. I used to have them turn on when the PC's went off (thanks to Coralife's power strip/timer) and I would leave them on for about two hours. I have since moved the fixture to my new 75g tank and I havent set up the moonlites yet--I miss them. I would like to be able to use them when I switch to halides, but they seem like they're really built into the hood, and I'm no electrician. But they might be easier to remove than they look.
