Best method for lowering alkalinity?

I just tested my water and its reading 14.8 dkh. How can I go about lowering it to around 10-11 dkh? Its been in the 14s for alittle over a month now

Water changes would be the safest way.

Or just wait and don't add any supplement. If you run a Ca reactor, shut off the Co2 and keep Ca up with a supplement and let the alk drop on it's own.

Rapid changes in alk can be pretty hard on some corals even if it is a change in the right direction.

14 isn't scary horrible IMO. 12 is a good place to be.

If you stop dosing it should go down on it's own. That's what happened to me one time.
