I need some pointers for drilling an acrylic tank.
What kind of drill bit do I need for a 1 inch bulk head?
Do I need to spray water while drilling?
Never drill a tank before and thanks for you help.

The best way is probably with a router and a circle jig, but a bi-metal hole saw will work fine. Yes, keep the holesaw wet (but don't wet a router ;) ).

When using a holesaw on acrylic, it will come out best if you drill part way from both sides if possible. 1 3/4" hole for a standard 1" sch40 bulkhead, slightly bigger for a 1" sch80 bulkhead.
