dumb question about rodi water

do i still need to add the water conditioner to the RODI water or can i just put it into the tank?

No water conditioner needed for top off when using RO/DI water.

one more dumb one. is water conditioner needed at all at this point? lets say i decided to do a large water change or even my monthlys on a 90 gallon. should i stop buying it all together? soory, i am new to RODI water.

If your using RODI water, you don't need any water conditioner.

A lot of the newer salt mixes are designed for rodi being used. Just read the bucket or bag and follow the instructions. You could test the water with and without the conditioner added and see what params you feel comfortable with...and no dumb questions.;-)
