need help - white fingus on my fish

It sounds like ich.
This was a good suggestion from another thread for treating ich if that's what you've got.
You will need to research this before you act.

I have no experience with that product so I can't comment on it.

Hyposalinity treatment involves transitioning the fish to a level of 1.007-1.009 (depending on who you talk to), keeping them at that level (with careful daily monitoring using a calibrated refractometer) for at least 6 weeks, then transitioning them back up to normal SG. Don't do anything until you have read up on this and also your other options......

Copper treatment is also effective for ick.

If a fish has gotten ick in your main display tank, all the fish have been exposed, and the Tank is infected.

To really rid the tank of the infection it needs to be %100 fishless for at least 8 weeks.

Ick can be managed in systems by keeping stress minimal, and feeding well. This is a seperate option, but one that does work for many aquarists.

Ick kills fish slowly. A day or two of research time probably won't hurt any of your fish, but might make all the difference in the long run.
It may help to post a picture so people can make good suggestions to help.
