Removing a BTA

how do you remove a bta that's really stuck on?

some background...
When I swapped out tanks and took out a rock the bta was on, the bta tore and split in 2. I think it was ready to split anyways, but this sorta forced it to.

Ever since, the bigger of the split has healed fine but the other resides on the bottom of a huge rock I have. It hasn't moved more towards the light. It looks bleached and ready to die, but hasn't (it's been a while ~month).

I really don't wanna remove the rock it's on...if possible. It's a HUGE rock(~about the size of 1-1/2 basketballs side by side).

any ideas?

When I moved my condy cuz of a PH accident, I first kept the lights off extra long so it would shrink, put on some gloves and very slowly and carefully with one finger started to work the base off the rock. It's kind of like trying to take a sticker off something without ripping it. Have patience and when you want to put it back, it may take a while for it to find a place where it wants attach itself. I shut off all water movement while doing this. Good luck
