removing coraline algae from glass?

any insight on removing coraline from glass. can i put somthing between magnetic scrubber i use to help?

We use a razor blade... Come off allot easier the scrubbing IMO

I use the scrapper you can get from PetCo or PetSmart. It has a handle and is easier for me.

I use that same scraper and it works great. As long as your tank is glass...

i have a scraper that glues on the back of a mag float and uses S.S. blades. between the blade and float surface it does a great job.

What about for those of us who have a bowfront? Im starting to notice more and more coralline growth spots and i know its just a matter of time. I bought a kent scraper for it and it doesnt work because of the bow angle.

I use a window scraper from Home Depot and scrape horizontally when necessary. I also have a long handle scraper that uses the regular shaver blades for times when I don't want to stick my whole arm in the tank. A razor is often the only tool that will work, but like WoodRiver said, razors are for glass only.
