Poor guy is bleaching out, please save him before he's a total loss!

No need to panic, Monti caps can be sensitive to bleaching stresses but are resilient.

Recent tank temps over 82F? Any increases to lighting recently? Alkalinity swing? Magnesium way out of whack? If she doesn’t make it, @dz6t can hook you up with 10 more like it to try again!
 
Lol yeah that's where she came from that beautiful lol.

Just hasn't done well in my tank, hate to see it go totally white. I have always had trouble keeping these guys. Everything else is fine, just these guys seem temperamental in my setup :)

I'm thinking about just getting rid of it... I hate to kill anything but it takes up so much room in my little tank. I would want to break off some of the nice green xenia first.

I could pickup tomorrow, and probably throw in a frag if I have something of interest but tbh it looks close of toast. No algae on it so hasn't kicked yet but moving it at this point isn't ideal but probably toast soon regardless unless something changes.

Any ideas why it's bleached? Lights, water quality etc?
