Stainless Steel in a reef tank

I'm looking to buy a TDS meter. The one I'm looking at is a Dual TDS Meter Senno http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WE603K .

My question is about the stainless steel probes that are in the Quick connect fittings.
I imagine that the water passes over the steel probes to be tested.

Is this a problem? And if so, any suggestions on another type of dual tds meter?

Thanks
Keith

Correct
I'll be testing pre-mixed water, but I believe the way this is set up, all water will be passing over the probes before it gets collected, then mixed.

I didn't think this was a big deal. I've seen MANY other members use this kind of set up, but never asked if all probs were stainless, I would imagine they would have to be.

The electrodes are likely Titanium, a very reactive metal that forms a protective surface and will do no harm to your system.
