Very true. Thank u. Think I'll try to meet the fellow reefer on her for the 24" fixture. Maybe down the road I'll get the LEDs along with it...

Picked up the Aquactinics 5x24 light over the weekend. That light is amazing. It has 2 whites, a blue, a purple and a rose color and they look great. Thank you all who suggested it. Just about ready for some livestock.....
Would like a better skimmer first though. I have a cpr bak pak on there which works, but just looks so small compared to others,. I have it hanging on my sump. Think this is OK for now, or should I think about that before fish? And if so, any suggestions? Not expensive please, but not crap either

To make the cpr work better, you could put a wood air stone in the bottom of it. run the tubing under the divider and up the other side.
I use 2 in mine, and only use the pump for flow. if i crank up my air pump up all the way, the bubbles would overflow out of the whole skimmer!

the only part that stinks about it is you have to replace the air stones every 2 weeks to a month.

The skimmer itself works well, just the collection cup is small. is that ok for. 56 gallon?
