cats & fish mix, not so niiiiiice

Greetings. I have 6 cats, a 55L reef, 125 specimen, 50 planted & a 10Q tank. The time has come to use a flea "bomb" in the house. Is this even a safe option considering all of the critters I would be jeopardizing? Has anyone had experience w/ this sort of thing?

You can wrap plastic around the tanks. Be sure to cover the tops real well. If anything gets in the tank, it will surely crash so be real careful.

Yup, Also shut off skimmers or anything else that draws in air and blows into the water column. Duct tape the plastic to be sure nothing gets in. Maybe even shut off your tank lights to prevent heat build up under the plastic.

I would actually suggest an airpump be run. Set the air pump outside of the room, where it can get clean air, and will provide positive pressure and aeration while your pumps are shut down.
