Clam Question

I've got a small desersa claim that I keep seeing tipped on its side. I've cleared the bottom for him to the glass--and there isn't enough current to push him over. Is he doing this from too much light or something? He's at the bottom of a 90. This is my first clam, not much experience caring for them.

make a rubble rock nest for him. its probably trying to plant its foot and wants to find a piece of rock to do so. make a bottom layer of small pieces of rock then wrap it with small rock pieces to keep it up right. it should stick its foot to a piece of rock giving it a base to sit on then place it where you want it. could take weeks for it to plant its foot so be patient... last i new clams loved light so i don't think its too much light but i could be wrong...

just noticed its a 90gl. my derasa clam is huge and under 2 250w MH right front and center i doubt its too much light
