DIY OverFlow Box

Pulled of the rest of the protective paper....... Quick rinse....... Finished!

Now glass cutting time,
Again used the dremel with the diamond bit.

25 minutes later........ hole is done.

Finished Product........... 20g High RR with center overflow!

Im going to guess that's roughly 6"x2"x4". The box is spaced away from the glass by a bulked gasket.

It is 6x2x6"
And the top of the overflow box is directly up against the inside lip of the thank, and like Barry said the only separation between the back of the overflow box and the glass is the bulkhead gasket.

I used 3/16 thick, 12"x24".........

The acrylic was cheaper to buy from here even with shipping, They quoted me almost $12 per square foot at Modern Plastics.

Other than the weld-on #16 which I got at Modern Plastics in Warwick Ri

I purchased everything else at Home Depot.
