My basement sump project

congrats on the new tank Bob! same one i have. can't really compare to the 55. good luck with it.

Thanks,
I love the extra room in front on the sandbed.
And having the built in overflow is a dream come true.:D
Now it makes it worth doing all the work in the basement.

Well, did a little upgrade this weekend.
Picked up a 20L Saturday and drilled the back yesterday for a 1" bulkhead.
Had to do a little replumbing to get it integrated in place of the 10 gallon.
But now there's room for the chaeto to expand and the pods to grow.
I think this will be my last upgrade unless I decide to change out the 70 gallon stock tank sump for a 100 gallon I have on hand. Also need to work on an auto top-off(next project). Now that winter is here the water seem to be evaporating pretty fast.

Looks great Bob. But just so I understand what you said above - this is your last upgrade... except for and until the next one?? :D

Lol, doesn't it always work like that in this hobby?

Glad i could hook you up with that 20L tank Bob.

Can't wait to get my hands on those frags!

I know, when do you know when to stop.
When the house is only considered life support for the tank?:p

Thanks,it's a work in progress.
