Nano Build - 25 gallon Mr, Aqua

I started this project back in May - June, but due to illness and death in the family the project got put on hold and sat in limbo for a while.

The stand is made of 3/4" birch ply for the sides and cross supports. 7/8" birch banding on all visible eges.

The stand went together quite nicely:

So I actually built the stand before acquiring the tank One of the fall backs of building a stand first, is sometimes an 18" tank isn't always 18" lol. So i needed to build a new top with maybe 1/8-1/4" of overhang.

I also picked up a CADlights 50 PSL skimmer for cheap. Now I just need to figure out the sump situation.

The next step was to take out the old over flow, plug the holes on the bottom (I used a bulk head with cap on it) and drilled holes for my corner overflow. I was able to source an X Aqua in-out. I love it so far. I don't have nay pics of the drilling process, but you get the idea.

Trying to get that digi back to life. Poor thing has been through hell and still has some fight in him.

I've had this leather FOR YEARS. he's been like this the last week or so. I have 2 of it's babies up on the frag rack that seem to be doing great.

I just realized how aweful the pics are. In a couple weeks, im going to 'plant' the frags and maybe do some re-scaping. I'll try to take some better pics with the DSLR.
