Silicon question

Is the ge silicon #1 still good for aquariums? I need to get a tube and don’t want to get the wrong one. I only ask because I feel like I seen a recent post saying that it has a hidden ingredient that is not good for the tank.

If it says anything about being mold or mildew resistant you want to stay away. Silicone that is safe for aquarium use will usually say so somewhere on the package.

This is the one you want.

Thank you I picked one up a couple weeks ago. I literally sat there in the isle reading the whole thing over and over for a half hour to make sure I’m not missing anything

A little help please! I cant find the exact same one that u have. Here is the GE 1 that I found which look the same, may they just changed the labeling a bit. Do u think think this one will work fine to reseal a tank?

Says mold free on front and part of what i can see on the back says resistant to unsightly stains. I'd probably avoid this one.

I use the ones that say specifically "use for aquariums". I recently sold out all local Lowes in that type.

Lowes carries the GE
That is safe for aquariums
I've used it many times

I order from bulkreef to be safe

Edit. This should have said I ended up ordering from bulkreef to be safe.
