First sump system setup

Okay so I am getting close to starting up the new build. This is my first sump system. Recommendations for sand for new sump and DT. I have the real fine stuff in my current 55g DT with hob equipment. It blows around to much.

I don't think you need sand in your sump.

I went with the black and white sand in my DT and I really makes the fish and corals stand out. Also it is pretty large in size so you do not have to worry about it getting kicked up my powerheads and fish. It doesnt really give you a natural reef look but it is different and I tend to like it.
