frozen plankton?

I was looking for frozen Rotifers up here in Maine.... Haven't found them yet. I saw Frozen plankton though... good? bad? make any difference? good food? or not?

What kind of plankton ?
I feed a few brands of "frozen plankton" that are basically a small krill (E. pacifica instead of E. superba) -- slightly bigger than a mysids shrimp IME. I feed these to my fw and marine fish that are too small for full sized krill, its a great color enhancer and source of HUFA's in my opinion.
(I use the Hikari, but have also used the San Fran Bay brand )

FWIW, seahorses also will take these. I give them to my seahorses as an alternative food to mysis. Very few shops sell this.

Wow... Every store up here carries the Frozen plankton.. (all six of them.. 50 miles between the first and the last) . I'll have to try it...
