2013 Official BRS Paly growout

Here's a pic of mine. It's in a 65 gallon long frag tank that has a 30 gallon breeder sump and a 15 gallon refugium. The tank is currently lit with a 36" 4 bulb Tek fixture supplemented by 2 Reef Brite strips. I'll switch the lights back to MH when the basement gets colder.

The dip for this frag was done with RPS All Out.

150g mixed reef, 40g sump with refugium
4 T5's and 2-250w 15k metal halides
Bi-monthly, 10g H2O changes with reef crystals and 2-part dose, weekly
No treatment of corals before going into DT
Started with one head

Welp, I'm out of the contest. Woke up this morning to an empty frag plug and I don't see it anywhere in the rock or sand. Not sure if it melted or got plucked by something, but boys definitely gone. Lol figures. Oh well.

I have one polyp. It fell off the plug and I glued it back on. Its open and happy. Its in a 150g, 80 deg. running 3 120w Chinese leds. 14-460 blue, 8 royal blue 450, 8 super actinic 410, 17 8000k white and 8 300k white. no sump. 1 marine land canister filter and a wet dry bio ball setup. reef octopus hob skimmer. I use coral sea pro water changes every 2-3 weeks 10-20%. feed cyclopese once a week and reef chili twice a week. I have it off to the side in the sand. I will get my parameters asap.

Sorry for the late update. Tank has been undergoing maintenance to rid some pests since late October. Here is a pic as of today. It's starting to show color and has 2 baby heads not visible in the picture.

You guys are so lucky to still have yours. Still haven't figured out what happened to mine. Not only do I lose this polyp, but the acan from the last grow out that was in my Pico I put in the 40g and it melted in 2 days. Figures lol maybe I shouldn't do contests anymore. That, or I should start acclimating my damn corals lol.
